FetchMate Replacement Balls (6 Pack)

Spare balls for the FetchMate Automatic Dog Ball Launcher, sold in packs of six. Each FetchMate version takes one ball size only. Standard tennis balls are too large for the launch chute and will jam or damage the machine, so a spare pack is the simplest way to keep play going.

Which size do I need?

• Classic 48mm 6 Pack: for the FetchMate Classic, which takes balls 48 to 50mm in diameter. Soft balls sized for small to medium dogs.
• Upgraded 58mm 6 Pack: for the FetchMate Upgraded, which takes ETPU balls 54 to 58mm (2.13 to 2.28 inches). Sized for medium to large dogs.

The two sizes are not interchangeable. Check which FetchMate version you own before ordering.

Why keep spares

• Wet and slobbery balls are the most common cause of jams and short launches. Rotating through more balls gives each one time to dry between throws.
• Split or badly chewed balls should be retired rather than fed back into the machine
• Balls get lost under sofas, in long grass and over fences

Care and safety

• Wipe balls dry before loading them into the launcher
• Do not use balls that are cracked, split or badly chewed
• Supervise play and remove any ball that starts to break apart
• Never use a ball small enough to fit fully behind your dog's back teeth

Frequently asked questions

Will these fit any automatic ball launcher?
No. These are sized for the FetchMate Classic (48 to 50mm) and the FetchMate Upgraded (54 to 58mm). Other launchers use different chute sizes.

Can I use the 48mm balls in the Upgraded launcher, or the other way around?
No. Each FetchMate version is built around its own size range. Using the wrong size will jam the drive mechanism.

How many balls come in a pack?
Six balls per pack, matching the six supplied with a new FetchMate.

Are these safe for my dog's teeth?
Yes. Both sizes are softer than a regulation tennis ball, which is deliberate. Regulation tennis ball felt is abrasive and wears down enamel over time.

How often should I replace them?
Replace any individual ball as soon as it splits, cracks or loses its shape. Heavy daily use with a strong chewer will wear balls faster than occasional play.
